Easter Louise Boyd
Mrs. Easter Boyd, age 53, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Thursday (May 24, 2018) at her home. Born April 18, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Ross Harry Stiver, Jr. and Louella Daisy Barger Stiver. She had resided in Southwest Virginia for several years and loved animals, especially her dogs and cats.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Scotty Boyd, Sr.; one daughter, Angela Boyd; grandson, Gabriel Logan Burchfield and nine brothers, James Stiver, William (Willie) Stiver, Allen Stiver, Joe Stiver, Bobby Stiver, Johnny Mac Stiver, Clifford Stiver, Sr., Ross Stiver and C.B. Stiver.
Survivors include six children, Christopher Boyd, Tia Tucker, Daisy Boyd, Margaret Barton, Scotty Boyd, Jr. and Leann Roberts; three brothers, Roger Stiver, Paul Stiver and William Stiver and grandchildren, Santana Boyd, Kashayla Boyd, Violet Boyd, Persephone Baker, Tristan Tucker, Alex McCormack, Wyatt Street, Sebastian Burchfield, Damian Barton, Brandon Thompson, Connor Raymond Rebel Roberts and Rowdy Roberts.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday at Blackford Community Church with Rev. Guy Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery in Wysor Valley, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Theo Brock, Kenneth Stiver, Bobby Stiver, Clifford Stiver, Michael Chaffins, Miguel Quijada and Richard Kolling.
The family will receive friends at Blackford Community Church from 10 AM- 11 AM.
