Obituary for Neal Thomas

Mr. Neal Thomas, age 43, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Honaker, Virginia passed away Thursday (March 29, 2018) in Kansas City, Kansas. Born July 2, 1974 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of Anna Gay Thomas Cox of Honaker, Virginia and the late Charlie June Cox. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Louise Thomas; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Mable Cox and one brother-in-law, Garland Miller.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his biological father, Johnny Thomas and wife, Mary of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one son, Dallas Thomas and friend, Brittany N. Dye; two sisters, Ellen Duty and Teddy and Debbie Miller and Kenny both of Honaker, Virginia; special nephews, Josh Duty and wife, Tonya and Chris Duty both of Honaker, Virginia; three brothers, Johnny Thomas, Jr. and Carl Thomas both of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Shannon Thomas of Richlands, Virginia; girlfriend, Sarah Beth Shutterfield; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life song service will be conducted at 6 PM Friday at Honaker Funeral Home.
