Obituary for Lisa Gail Lester (Ritchie)

Lisa Gail Ritchie Lester, age 53, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Sunday (April 30, 2017) at the Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, Tennessee. Born April 21, 1964 in Lebanon, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Dee and Jo Ann Keene Ritchie. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a 1983 graduate of Honaker High School and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was owner and operator of Jo Ann’s Beauty Shop for over twenty years. She enjoyed spending time working on different types of crafts, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Ritchie.
Survivors include two children, Jamie “J-Bo” Lester and wife, Heather of Claypool Hill and Keri Nash and husband, Jamie of Honaker; six grandchildren, Braylon Lester, Ashlyn Lester, Colton Kitts, Tanner Kitts, Dominic Nash, and Isabella Nash; one brother, Darrell Ritchie and wife, Tammy of Honaker; three step-grandchildren, Kendra Proffitt, Dustin Nash, and Trace Nash; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Rod Wicker and Rev. Mike Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Ritchie, Jonathan Ritchie, Cody Ritchie, Lynn Keene, Larry Runyon, Rick Keene, Ron Fogleman, and Jackie “Frog” Bise.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Monday, where an evening song service will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
