Obituary for Billy Allen Honaker

Billy Allen Honaker
Mr. Billy Allen Honaker, age 63 of the River Mountain Road section of Lebanon, Virginia passed away Monday (April 3, 2017) at his home. Born May 17, 1953 in Russell County, Virginia, he was a son of the late Billy Sunday and Sophie Ellen Wilson Honaker. A lifelong resident of the area, he was formerly employed as a coal miner. He had served his country in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tracy Gay Honaker; six brothers, Ralph Honaker, Henry Honaker, Glen David Honaker, Harless Honaker, Jim Crabtree and Lynn Crabtree; three sisters, Louella Honaker, Kathy Byrd and Margie Owens.

Survivors include two children, David Honaker of Lebanon, Virginia and Jamie Kiser and husband, Troy of Cleveland, Virginia; six grandchildren, Tori Kiser, Haley Honaker, Ethan Honaker, Nick Kiser, Jaiden Kiser and Brayden Kiser; special companion, Dorena Salyers; two sisters, Sharon Kay Stevens of Cumberland, Virginia and Robin Smith of Honaker, Virginia; three brothers, Mike Honaker and Larry Honaker both of Honaker, Virginia and Bill June Honaker of Abingdon, Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Kiser and Rev. Danny Rhea officiating. Interment will follow in the Honaker and Wilson Cemetery at Honaker, Virginia. Military Graveside Honors will be conducted.

Pallbearers will be Larry Buckles, Scott Honaker, Greg Honaker, Josh Honaker, Rusty Osborne, Logan Tiller, Marty Maxfield, Mike Stevens, Bryan Stevens, Keith Steffey, Levi Maxfield and Logan Maxfield.

The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 PM Wednesday.
