Obituary for Sheryl Lynn Bailey

Sheryl Lynn Bailey
Sheryl Lynn Deel Bailey, age 49 of Bee, Virginia departed this walk of life on Sunday morning (February 26, 2017). She was born May 4, 1967 in Akron, Ohio, but was raised in Dickenson County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Linda Sue Hess Deel of Bee, Virginia and the late Floyd Deel, Jr. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a faithful member of Duty View Primitive Baptist Church. Sheryl loved her Lord; her focus in life was to serve Him. She was a light to her church family and everyone else she met; she would walk in a room and you could see the love of Jesus in her beautiful smiling face. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who loved her earthly family with all her heart. Her most precious gift was her son; she was so proud of the man he had become. Sheryl will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Timothy Bailey; one son, Jamie Todd Bailey and wife, Kimberly of Lebanon, Virginia; brother, Kevin F. Deel and wife, Kathy; two nieces, Kallian Deel and Ashlee Bailey; two nephews, Brandon Deel and wife, Brittany and Jarrod Bailey; many friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles also survive.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Elder Barrett McGlothlin, Elder Noah Kim Edwards and Elder Jim Duty officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday at Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon, Virginia with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Thursday.
