Obituary for Victoria "Tory" Lockhart

Mrs. Victoria Lockhart, better known to her friends, as “Tory”, age 89, formerly of Davenport, Virginia, completed her earthly journey at Grace Healthcare of Abingdon, Virginia on Friday (August 19, 2016). She has gone on to meet with our Lord to receive her reward for a job well done and to be reunited with her loving husband, Arnold Lockhart of sixty-three years and her son, Edmond Lockhart, who preceded her in death. Born June 28, 1927 in Davenport, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Martha Jane Owens Lockhart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her husband, son, and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ira Lockhart, Harlis Lockhart, and two infants, and one sister, Dorothy Lockhart.
Survivors include two daughters, Wilma Ratliff and husband, Ken of Nokesville, Virginia and Lillian Thomas and husband, Willard of Dandridge, Tennessee; one sister, Ella Ball of Marion, Virginia; six grandchildren, Tony Thomas and wife, Carma, Jason Ratliff and wife, Stacie, Richard Lockhart, Jason Lockhart and wife, Tiffany, Carlene Ratliff and Charlene Ratliff; and six great-grandchildren, Zachary Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Caroline Ratliff, Cate Ratliff, Dalton Lockhart, and Annabella Lockhart also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Memorial Cemetery at Lebanon, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Saturday.
