Judy Ann Steele Alexander, age 64, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Thursday (January 4, 2018) at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. Born October 2, 1954 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Lacy Henry and Margie Mae Harris Steele. She had resided in Honaker, Virginia most of her life and was a 1972 graduate of Honaker High School. She enjoyed reading and creating photo slide shows on her computer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Lacy Steele, Jr., Jackie Steele and Jimmy Steele.
Survivors include two children, Joshua Matthew Alexander of Honaker, Virginia and Jeremiah Cody Alexander and fiancée, Whitlea of Ocala, Florida; two grandsons, Dakota Blake Alexander and Joshua Matthew Alexander, II; one sister, Shirley Boyd and husband, Leon of Kingsport, Tennessee; one brother, Billy Steele and wife, Chris of Honaker, Virginia; sister-in-law, Trish Steele; special cousins, Saundra Honaker and husband, Wayne and Debbie Harris; special family friend, Jamie Royal.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6 PM Monday at Swords Creek Community Baptist Church, 3305 Kent’s Ridge Road, Honaker, Virginia 24260.
