Obituary for Jessie Eure (Keen)

Jessie Keen Eure, age 76, of Richlands, Virginia, passed away Thursday (September 20, 2018) at her home. Born December 6, 1941 in Swords Creek, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Parson Peter and Josie Catherine Dye Keen. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a former employee of Lebanon Apparel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Gene Perkins, Eugene Perkins; one granddaughter, Brandy Perkins; one sister, Margaret Keen; two brothers, Paul Keen and Wiley Keen.
Survivors include one son, Brian Perkins of Swords Creek, Virginia; one daughter, Linda Fitzgerald of Richlands, Virginia; three grandsons, Keith Perkins and wife, Katie, Dustin Ratliff and wife, Amanda and Larry Price, Jr.; Four granddaughters, Jessica Perkins, Danielle Howington, Jasmine Price and Jayden Price; eight siblings, Oris Keen, Donnie Keen, Parson Keen, Jr., Wilma Keene, Mayzelle Sykes, Shirley Arrington, Loretta Keen and Carrie Dell Keen; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis White officiating. Interment will follow in the Silas Boyd Cemetery at Pine Creek, Virginia.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 PM Saturday.
