Mr. Rickey Alan Price, age 60, of the Baptist Valley section of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Saturday (September 15, 2018) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born January 30, 1958 in Fort Dix, New Jersey, he was a son of Coy O. and Clara D. Strouth Price of Cedar Bluff. A member of the United States National Guard, he attended Bandy Assembly of God and Richlands High School. He was a former employee of Lowe’s at Claypool Hill. He was preceded in death by one brother, Darrell Price.
In addition to his parents, survivors include two sisters, Carolyn Diane Phillips and husband, Robert of Kingsport, Tennessee and Cynthia D. Price of Cedar Bluff; one brother, Rodney A. Price and wife, Malinda of Lynchburg, Virginia; nieces and nephews, Jonathan I. Price, Kensington N. Price, Jacob A. Price, and Kambrie F. Price.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia, with Rev. Stephen Musick and Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Honaker Cemetery on River Mountain Road, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Price, Billy Price, Larry Price, Bradley Honaker, Luther Sauls, and James Price.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Monday.
