Obituary for Daniel Wayne Street

Mr. Daniel Wayne Street, age 61, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Wednesday (August 1, 2018) in a Kingsport, Tennessee hospital. Born September 16, 1956 in Richlands, Virginia, he was a son of the late Paris Daniel and Ida Mae Barton Street. A lifelong resident of the area, he was of the Baptist faith. He was a disabled coal miner and enjoyed playing his guitar, hunting, and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Gail Musick Street, and one sister, Carmie Street Artrip.
Survivors include one son, Banky Wayne Street of the home; one grandson, Wyatt Street; one brother, Garland J. Street of Honaker; four sisters, Mary J. Gamble of Abingdon, and Kathy M. Davis, Faye Crabtree, and Delphia A. Cox all of Honaker; his companion of twenty-nine years, Bertha Kiser; special friends, Vikkie Wilson and Jerry Reynolds; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson and Rev. Larry Stinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Street Family Cemetery on Thompson Creek, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Whited, Floyd Street, Herman Street, B.J. Street, Jerry Reynolds, and Justin Rose.
Honorary pallbearers will be Arlin Wilson, Roy Whited, Jady Street, Billy Street, Benny Terry, Brady Crabtree, and Jack Bennett.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Friday, where an evening song service will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
