Mrs. Emma Lois Stilwell Lockhart, age 66, of the Big Fox section of Vansant, Virginia, passed away Tuesday (May 8, 2018) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born February 15, 1952 in Grundy, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Jessie James and Jennie Jackson Stilwell. She was a 1970 graduate of Council High School and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harlis Stilwell and Lindsey Stilwell.
Survivors include her husband of forty-seven years, William Lockhart of the home; one daughter, Jeanne Osborne and fiancé, Dwayne Fleming of Honaker; two sons, Jimmy Lockhart and wife, Belinda, and David Lockhart and wife, Marlene all of Orange, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Trevor Osborne of Honaker, Gillian Lockhart, Justin Lockhart, Jennah Lockhart, Jessi Lockhart, Chase Lockhart, Kristi Lockhart, and Dakota Lockhart all of Orange, Virginia; five brothers, six sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Edward Tiller and Rev. Troy Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Stilwell Family Cemetery at Little Fox, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Fronnie Lockhart, Roger Lockhart, Eric Breeding, Chris Bostic, Justin Lockhart, Trevor Osborne, Jacob Lockhart, Mark Combs, Rick Breeding, and Larry Bostic.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph McGlothlin, Larry Breeding, Lonnie Boyd, Fonnie Boyd, Keith Boyd, Dr. Bidros, Dr. Jawad, Dr. Brown, 5th floor infusion and ICU at Clinch Valley Medical Center, that were so good to mom.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Thursday, where an evening song service will be conducted at 7:00 PM.
