Mrs. Bonnie Lou Davis, age 62, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Friday (March 9, 2018) in an Abingdon, Virginia hospital. Born June 14, 1955 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Lois Arwood Street. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of Outreach Temple. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Belinda Lou Davis, and one great-granddaughter, Olivia Jean Elizabeth Meade.
Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, James Davis of the home; one sister, Brenda Davis and husband, Hurley of Buchanan County; one brother, Rondal Street and wife, Loretta of Rowe, Virginia; one granddaughter, Chasity Meade and husband, Dustin of Honaker; three great-grandchildren, Emma Lou Jean Meade, Benjamin Harold Willard Meade, and Claire Lynn Elizabeth Meade; several nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Ray Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Street Cemetery at Rowe, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Street, Kester Street, Kenneth Street, Reese Davis, Adam Davis, Jeffery Davis, Dustin Meade, Willard Meade, and Brennan Meade.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Women of Outreach Temple Church.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Saturday.
