Mary Alice Harris, age 66, of Richlands, Virginia passed away Friday (March 2, 2018) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born January 22, 1952 in Tampa, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Beecher Lee Harris, Sr. and Odessa Wells Harris. She had resided in Southwest Virginia most of her life and had formerly been employed as a construction worker and a waitress. She was the greatest Mommy in the world.
Survivors include two children, Sonya Michelle Baldwin and Cameron Paul Harris both of Richlands, Virginia; one grandson, Royce Alexander Baldwin of Richlands, Virginia; two brothers, Lee Harris and Larry Harris both of Honaker, Virginia; three sisters, Darlene Carstens of Pahrump, Nevada, Sylvia Sidel of New Milford, Connecticut and Deborah Harris of Big A Mountain, Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday at the Frank Smith Cemetery in Big A Mountain, Virginia with Bro. David Earl Harris officiating. Interment will follow. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
