Obituary for Lawrence Holloway

Mr. Lawrence Holloway, age 60, of Richlands, Virginia passed away Tuesday (February 6, 2018) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born October 2, 1957 in Richmond, Virginia, he was a son of Carlton Holloway and the late Joan Elswick Holloway. He spent his early childhood in Richmond, moving to Southwest Virginia when he was eight years old. He had formerly been employed by Gardner, Inc. and he enjoyed collecting cars and Indian memorabilia. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Amanda Francis Kinder.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife of eighteen years, Wanda Sue Holloway of the home; two step-sons, Wallace Stearil Kinder, Jr. and William Edward Kinder; two granddaughters, Wanda Lynn Kinder and boyfriend, Clarence Barton, II and April Dawn Kinder and boyfriend, Brandon Lee Ellis; one grandson, William Brandon Rasnake and girlfriend, Leann Jenelle Presley; six grandchildren, Hunter James Rasnake, Cameron Luke Rasnake, Brayden Daniel Rasnake, Musa Gebran Kinder, Kaleigh Rose Kinder and Brantley Cole Rasnake; special friends, James Nunley, Eric Gardner and Terry Austin also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in the Presley-Wampler Cemetery at Copperhead, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Clarence Lee Barton, II, William Brandon Rasnake, Brandon Lee Ellis, Terry Austin, Jason Austin and Joe Austin.
William Ronnie Rasnake will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 PM Friday.
